Bad day today, for past one week mails from our office mail servers are getting bounced back by VSNL mail server, the reason was, our IP got listed in Spam because of 2 virus infected machines…
I cleaned the machines, got our IP removed from SpamHaus (VSNL uses IP list from SpamHaus) but still VSNL is considering our mails as spam and bouncing the mails…every time it provides the same reason in the bounced email…”< -- 530 5.7.1 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
I called their customer support phone number and asked them to remove it, they asked me that it wont be possible to remove it from here, please mail us at customerservice@vsnl.co.in, so I mailed them, no response for a 3-4 days, so I called them up again....they asked me to send mail to abuse@vsnl.com, since the email is vsnl.com so mail got bounced back stating same spam reason...
So I called them again, this time again I was told that they wont be able to help me, since I am not VSNL customer, they cannot lodge the complaint also…
So the solution? Nothing, wait for VSNL to remove our IP automatically…it may take 1 week, 1 months or few months…
They did not let me talk to some senior person in technical department also….the work is just 2 mins of work…they just need to refresh their spam list cache…

I have a e-mail account in VSNL.COM. But i am unable to receive and send mesaage since 25.11.08. When i click send/recieve button, the window open and shows “connected to vsnl.com” but at least the message shown disconnected. Can anybody help me.

I have been using user id vijayvk@vsnl.com or vijayvk@bom3.vsnl.net.in.
I have configured the email on my outlook , but whenever i send mail from different ISP I get an error.
I have set the pop3 to bom3.vsnl.net.in and smtp: smtp.vsnl.net
Please help me on how to configure the outlook so that I can send and receive mail.
Else I would have to switch on to different mail domain and also the different internet service provider.

We are using the vsnl server for incoming mails also using vodafone usb modem server for out going mails but currently our mails are not sending properly will receive the blw error while i am sending the mails fm our outlook express, so pls help us for the same

Now I’ am having BSNL broadband connection. And my e.mail account in VSNL(i.e brushindia@eth.net). When i have the dial-up connection with VSNL, I configured my my mail account with windows mail. At that time i received and send all mails from this windows mail. Now by the BSNL broadband connection i am receiving all mails via windows mail, but the mails are not going out from the windows mail. why? Kindly help.

Let’s all join and take VSNL to court and pay damages for the loss and prejudice created by its sheer inefficiency. By manipulated telephonic and incoming mail system the customer service is not accepting any call and/or responding to any mail sengt from different mail id. It seems a big clout is going on to suppress its mess. As a result i cannot access my mail box since 12 Jan 12 precisely. I’m going to serve a legal notice. Shame! Tata Teleservices Shame!
